Kodiaks In The Community - Drive Away Hunger Campaign

The Camrose Kodiaks recently partnered with Farm Credit Canada in the execution of the Drive Away Hunger campaign!

The campaign took place at the last two Kodiaks home games on Thursday, October 6th and Saturday, October 8th and was very successful.

There was over 480 lbs of food that was contributed, and over $240 in cash donations that was raised in the span of these two hockey games. All of this was turned over to the Camrose Food Bank, just in time for the Thanksgiving weekend, and in time for the upcoming Christmas season.

A special thank you to Camrose Chrysler for the generous use of one of their Dodge Ram trucks, to collect and transport the food to the food bank.

The Kodiaks involvement in the Drive Away Hunger Campaign is a part of the team's commitment to the "Kodiaks Body Check Hunger" initiative, which they are executing throughout the first several months of the hockey season.
