The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 19-year-old forward Chris Barton (Calgary, AB) has committed to attend Merrimack College (Hockey East). Chris is currently in his second season with the Kodiaks.
Chris has played 15 games this season and has accumulated 5 goals and 8 assists. He was also a member of the South Division Top Prospects Team in the 05/06 season.
The Kodiaks would like to congratulate Chris and his family. We are extremely proud of Chris and his accomplishments, and look forward to his continued contribution to our program in preparation for what is sure to be a very successful collegiate career with the Merrimack Warriors.

The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 18-year-old defenseman Evan Oberg (Forestburg, AB) has committed to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth. (Western Collegiate Hockey Association).
Evan is currently in his second season with the Kodiaks and was a member of the South Division Top Prospects Team in the 05/06 season. He was also recently named to the roster of Team Canada West at the inaugural World Junior A Challenge in Yorkton and Humboldt, SK.
The Kodiaks would like to congratulate Evan and his family. We know that Evan’s hard work and dedication have certainly paid off and we wish him continued success in his future academic and athletic pursuits.

The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 19-year-old defenseman Karl Stollery (Armena, AB) has committed to attend Merrimack College (Hockey East). Karl is currently in his second season with the Kodiaks.
Karl has played 20 games this season and currently leads Kodiak defensemen in scoring with 6 goals and 10 assists. He will be joining current team mate Chris Barton (87) in the Warrior’s uniform.
The Kodiaks would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Karl and his family on this achievement. We wish him the best of luck in his future academic and athletic endeavors.

The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 20-year-old forward Scott Kobialko (Spruce Grove, AB) has committed to attend Robert Morris University (College Hockey America) for the 2007-2008 season.
Scott is currently in his second season with the Kodiaks after joining the team mid-way through the 2005-2006 campaign. Scott has played 25 games this season and has accumulated 13 goals and 25 points.
The Kodiaks would like to congratulate Scott and his family. We are extremely proud of Scott and his accomplishments, and look forward to his continued contribution to our program in preparation for what is sure to be a very successful collegiate career with the Robert Morris Colonials.

The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 17-year-old forward Eric Kroshus (Calgary, AB) has committed to attend Harvard University (Eastern College Athletic Conference) for the 2008-2009 season.
  
Eric is currently in his first season with the Kodiaks. After 42 games, Eric has accumulated 16 goals and 20 assists.

The Kodiaks would like to congratulate Eric and his family. Not only has Eric worked extremely hard on his hockey skills, but also his academic excellence has allowed him to attend one the finest schools in the world. We know Eric will be a great addition to the Harvard Crimson.

MIKE CONNOLLY

The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 17-year-old forward Mike Connolly (Calgary, AB) has committed to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth (Western Collegiate Hockey Association) for the 2008 season.

Mike is currently in his first season with the Kodiaks and was a member of the 2007 AJHL South Division All Star Team. In 47 games this season, Mike has accumulated 18 goals and 30 assists for 48 points. Mike will be joining current teammate Evan Oberg for the 2008 season, as well as several Kodiak alumni including MacGregor Sharp, Mason Raymond and Logan Gorsalitz.

The entire Kodiaks organization would like to congratulate Mike and his family and wish him continued success with his academic and athletic endeavors.

The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 20-year-old defenseman Jon Cook (Denver, Co) has committed to attend the University of Denver (Western Collegiate Hockey Association) for the 2007 season.
 
Jon is currently in his first season with the Kodiaks. The steady, stay at home defenseman played in 58 regular season games where he accumulated 2 goals and 4 assists and a +5 rating.

The Kodiaks would like to congratulate Jon and his family. We know that Jon's hard work and dedication have certainly paid off and we wish him continued success as he goes 'home' to begin his collegiate career with the Pioneers.

BRADY COOK

ALABAMA HUNTSVILLE

June 5th, 2007 - The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 20-year-old forward Brady Cook (Sherwood Park, AB) has committed to attend the University of Alabama in Huntsville (College Hockey America) for the 2007-2008 season.

After leading the Burnaby Express to the Royal Bank Cup Championship the previous year, Brady returned to Alberta to be closer to his brother Matt who was recovering from serious health issues. Brady joined the Camrose Kodiaks and became their undisputed leader and Captain, and led them to within one game of the Royal Bank Cup final.

The Kodiaks would like to congratulate Brady and his family. We are extremely proud of Brady and his accomplishments, and look forward to following what will certainly be a successful collegiate career with the University of Alabama Huntsville Chargers.
