The Camrose Kodiaks and Calgary Canucks hook up for an
early afternoon tilt on Sunday in Camrose where the Canucks
managed to sneak away with a 3-2 win.

battled back and forth through 60 minutes minutes of
hockey without deciding anything, but in the 61st minute
the Cru scored to put it away in overtime.

The Camrose Kodiaks ran up the shot clock on the Dragons
in Camrose Thursday night, but couldn't do so on the
scoreboard as the Kodiaks clung to a 3-2 lead until late in
the third period when Spencer Jewell fired the insurance
goal to give the Kodiaks a 4-2 win.

Hockey Canada announced on Monday that Camrose, Alta.,
will host the 2011 RBC Cup, Canada’s National Junior A Championship!
The Camrose Kodiaks will serve as the host team!

KaiserKAISER COMMITS TO UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA
The Camrose Kodiaks are pleased to announce that 17-year-old defenseman Nolan Kaiser (Calgary, AB) has committed to attend the University of Alaska Fairbanks (Central Collegiate Hockey Association) for the 2011 season. Nolan is currently in his second season with the Kodiaks.
Nolan has played in 46 games this season tallying 8 goals and 24 assists for 32 points. He is also a solid + 15. Nolan was also named to the 2010 South Division A.J.H.L All-Star Team.
“Nolan is making the most of his increased playing time this year” says G.M./Coach Boris Rybalka. “He is a big body who will continue to develop and we expect great things from him this year and next.
The Kodiaks would like to congratulate Nolan and his family. We are extremely proud of Nolan and his accomplishments, and look forward to his continued contribution to our program in preparation for what is sure to be a very successful collegiate career for coach Dallas Ferguson and the University of Alaska Nanooks.
